Physical - Butt still having issues. The Road Boss got a twenty dollar seat from Walmart that I dismissed at first, but then tried. It's missing the horn, and combining it with the spandex shorts just may do the trick. Also, I'm switching to Jenard tomorrow. All these factors should make for a VERY pleasant ride to Cedar Rapids.

Road - Slightly hilly, less pronounced than NY. Drivers, especially truck drivers tended to tailgate a LOT more than in other states. Iowa has a law that requires trucks to give at least 300 feet distance between themselves and other vehicles. The one time I almost was hit today by a truck, he was tailgating the truck in front of him and beeped at me as if I was the problem.
Wind - The STRONGEST headwind I've encountered yet. Happened in the last half of the day.
Weather - Not as hot.
Physical - Feet fine, back fine. The new seat was far gentler to the areas that the spongy wonder bothered. But the new seat irritated OTHER areas! Overall, should be OK. Jenard was a far more smooth ride than rootbeer.
